We are a group of concerned citizens who have come together to protect Hoboken's unique character from being lost. We have witnessed out-of-scale development and the demolition of too many buildings rich with history. We support smart and responsible development that fits the scale of our City and honors its history, while also protecting and growing Hoboken's green spaces.
We started as the Hoboken Rail Yards Task Force in 2008. Our focus was to prevent many skyscrapers—up to 70+ stories— from being built at the rail yards by Hoboken Terminal.
WHO WE ARE
Responsible Development Task Force is comprised of experts in historic preservation, environment, and civic engagement, as well as other concerned citizens who want to take an active role in protecting Hoboken's unique character.
